How it works
Five minutes a month. That's your part.
You run the trucks. I write the email, set it up and send it from your own account. Here's exactly what happens, start to finish.
Three steps, then it runs every month.
You send me the basics
Your logo, phone number, booking link and this month's special. A short form, once.
I write it
In your voice, for your town and that month's weather. On your phone in 3 business days.
You say OK
It goes out from your own email account. Each month you see who opened it and who called.
What I need from you
One short form. Once.
After that, I only bother you for the monthly OK, and if your special changes.
- Shop infoYour shop name, logo, phone number and the towns you cover.
- BookingYour online booking link, if you have one. If not, the email just says call.
- SpecialsWhat you're running this month. Tune-up price, plan sign-ups, financing. Or I'll suggest one.
- Your listYour past customers' emails. They're already on your invoices in Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan or QuickBooks. I'll walk you through the export. About two minutes.
- Sign-offHow you sign your name, and anything you never want said.
Every month after that
What a normal month looks like.
Draft on your phone
Around the 20th, you get next month's email to read. It's short. You can read it in the truck.
Reply OK or fix it
Reply "OK" and it's done. Want to change the price or a line? Just tell me in plain English.
It goes out, you see the results
It sends from your own email account, under your shop name. You get a short note: who opened it, who clicked to call or book.
The whole year, handled
A reason to call you every month. Especially the slow ones.
Blue months are when the phone usually goes quiet. That's when these emails earn their keep.

Setup questions
The stuff owners ask first.
Whose email does it come from?
Yours. It goes out from your shop's account, with your name and your number. Your customers never hear the name Pilot Light.
Do I need to buy email software?
If you already have Mailchimp, Constant Contact or similar, we use it. If not, I set up a free or low-cost account in your name, so you own it.
I don't have a list.
You do. Every customer in Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan or QuickBooks has an email on the invoice. I'll walk you through pulling it.
Who owns the list?
You do, always. It stays in your account. If you stop, you keep everything.
What if I want to change something?
Reply and tell me. Nothing goes out until you say OK.
Is this legal to send?
Yes. These are people who already did business with you, and every email has your address and an unsubscribe link, the way the CAN-SPAM rules require.
Your first one's free
Let's get your name back in front of your customers.
Text or email me your shop name. I'll write your next customer email and send it over. If you like it, it goes out. If not, no hard feelings.
